The promo for the Arrow finale teases fans with how Stephen Amell’s exit from the Arrowverse affects his team.

After the latest episode of Stephen Amell’s Arrow introduced how the Green Arrow legacy will continue thanks to Mia Queen in 2040, the trailer for the Arrow series finale teases how the emotional ending will affect the team and the rest of the Arrowverse heroes. Fans will already know that Stephen Amell’s Oliver Queen sacrificed himself in Crisis On Infinite Earths, leaving the rest of the heroes he inspired to carry on his heroic legacy.

The new footage shows old and new members of the Arrow team assembling in Oliver’s base of operations, presumably to pay their respects to their fallen leader. The trailer for Stephen Amell’s Arrow finale also showed the return of The Monitor, before ending on a shot of the statue that memorializes the hero’s sacrifice.
