Now, Oliver will come face-to-face with many of the criminals he placed behind bars, as he makes a new home for himself at Slabside Maximum Security Prison. Oliver will find himself vulnerable in a way unlike ever before when a mysterious new enemy begins to unravel his work as Green Arrow, challenging him to redeem his name or risk losing everything.

The series stars Stephen Amell, David Ramsey, Emily Bett Rickards, Katie Cassidy, Echo Kellum, Juliana Harkavy, Rick Gonzalez, and Colton Haynes.

Arrow season 7 premieres on October 15 at 8:00 p.m. on The CW.

I personally always prefer a good original score. There are a few exceptions, but they are better off as exceptions and not the norm. If you are to use licensed music, then it has to be earned in the context of the movie (diegetic as you call it) like they used it in Deadpool and Guardians of the Galaxy. I really hated the way they used the music in Suicide Squad. It always felt like a big commercial break in the middle of the film to help sell a soundtrack.

I’m very scared that this becomes a trend in other DC movies. I believe it would be a huge mistake if WW and JL go down that road. The JL trailer was built like that as well which worries me very much. DC have had the best superhero scores so far. It’s one the my biggest disappointments with the MCU movies so far as I find the scores are not as good as they could be. I hope DC keeps giving us epic scores. It would be a shame if that trend were to stop because the studio want to sell more pop soundracks.

There you go again. Was it a “trend” with MOS & BVS? We’ve already heard some of WW’s music, & it’s been original thus far. WB released BVS’s soundtrack several months before the film. We already know what the music was like. Same with WW.

Where have you heard the WW music exactly? I’d very much like to ear it. Except for a few rare exceptions, they usually release the soundtrack very close to the release date of the movie, never several months in advance.

BTW, I’m not saying that’s what will happen. I’m just saying I hope that’s not what happens.
