‘Arrow’ Star Stephen Amell Attacked By Fan

Just about every fan understands the inner desire to live in a world populated with superheroes or at the very least spend some time in any of the fictional worlds superhero films and TV shows have created for us on the screen. However, what happens when someone takes the wish fulfillment too far? ‘Arrow’ star Stephen Amell discovered the answer this past weekend when an overzealous fan attacked him, claiming he wanted to fight Green Arrow.

Stephen Amell took to Facebook yesterday to recount the incident where he explains that the fan headbutted him out of nowhere, declaring, “I want to fight the Green Arrow.” However, in true superhero form, Amell’s reaction was rather dignified.

Check out the post below to read the full story and learn how Amell chose to respond to the enthusiastic fan.

Dude came up to me yesterday… Head Butts me hard. Outta nowhere… Then says — “I want to fight the Green Arrow.”…

A very classy response from Stephen Amell, especially when you consider that since the actor performs many of his own stunts on ‘Arrow’ and even stepped into the WWE ring last year, Green Arrow probably would have won that fight easily.

Arrow airs on Wednesday at 8:00 pm ET on The CW.

I can’t believe he didn’t have the guy arrested and actually shook his hand. Incredible.

  • How is that a classy response? What was his actual response?

I’m not talking 10 minutes after the headbutt and posting on social media, but what was his actual response immediately following the headbutt. That’s the story you clowns.

That’s the part that people want to know, did he fly off the handle, turn and run, push the guy off or stand there and take it and stare him down?

Just curious: what would you consider a “classy response”, if what Amell did doesn’t qualify as such?

I’m not sure he really cares or has any idea what kind of response he would’ve preferred. He already seems to be triggered over nothing.

Agreed, nothing he said made sense whatsoever. Amell’s response couldn’t have been classier.

Amell is an A+ person and even if he had called the cops on the guy, he probably would’ve done that in a classy way.

Not to mention, he would’ve been well within his rights to call the cops, if he chose to. He’d have been blameless, if he had.

I love how Amell really embodies the spirit of DC on alot of levels.
