The annual Arrow-Verse crossover is something fans look forward to every year. So, when it was announced that Batgirl was going to be involved and Ruby Rose would play her, fans went nuts. The network has done a good job at hyping the crossover, giving us bits and pieces here and there. Now Arrowโ€™s Stephen Amell has been hyping the Elseworlds crossover for the past weekend. Heโ€™s taken to Facebook live to hype it up and now heโ€™s given us a behind-the-scenes look at the Supergirl episode of the crossover. You can check out Stephen Amellโ€™s tweet below.

Meanwhile, the firstย official image of Roseโ€™s Batwoman was released on Monday, with the character set to debut in the networkโ€™s annual crossover event. Stephen Amellโ€™s Arrow was the first hero to launch the Arrow-verse back in 2012. The series later launched other successful heroes and spin-offs with The Flash Supergirlย and Legends of Tomorrow.ย Batwoman will be the latest hero to join the universe in the Elseworldโ€™s crossover with hopes of launching another DC TV series for The CW. Amell shared his thoughts on Rose joining the universe andย admitsย hasnโ€™t talked to the actress yet:

โ€œI havenโ€™t spoken with Ruby yet. I know absolutely everything about the crossover, and there is literally nothing I can say about it. Ruby doesnโ€™t need my help, at all. But I have always taken great pride when we have a new character โ€” this situation is very similar to when Grant [Gustin] was introduced as Barry Allen on our show. You effectively have an episode that is this personโ€™s story, but theyโ€™re dropping into a world where everyone is familiar with one another, there are no nerves, everyone knows how it works. Even if she doesnโ€™t feel it, I feel like thereโ€™s a great deal of pressure on Ruby. I would just hope that if she needs anything from me, she wouldnโ€™t hesitate to ask.โ€

Arrowย starsย Stephen Amellย as Oliver Queenย with David Ramseyย as John Diggle, Emily Bett Rickardsย as Felicity Smoak, andย Colton Haynes.

There has been no shortage of close calls for Oliver Queen when it comes to protecting his Super Hero identity, but in the season six finale, he was finally backed into a corner and forced to reveal himself to the world as the Green Arrow. Now, Oliver will come face-to-face with many of the criminals he placed behind bars, as he makes a new home for himself at Slabside Maximum Security Prison. Oliver will find himself vulnerable in a way unlike ever before when a mysterious new enemy begins to unravel his work as Green Arrow, challenging him to redeem his name or risk losing everything.

Arrowย Season 7 premieres on October 15 at 8:00 p.m. on The CW.
