Stephen Amell has become synonymous with the Green Arrow, but fans know he was not the first to play the character on The CW. Actor Justin Hartley played Oliver Queen on Smallville, and the two Arrows held a mini-reunion this weekend.
Amell posted a picture of the two of them on Twitter, with a tongue-in-cheek caption mentioning a “deleted scene” from last week’s Crisis On Earth-X crossover, which pitted The CW superheroes against their doppelgangers from alternate timelines. Check out the picture in the tweet below:

So what do you think, does this make Smallville canon in the Arrowverse? Would you like to see Hartley’s Green Arrow show up sometime on Arrow? Sound off in the comments below!
You can read the official synopsis of the mid-season finale titled “Irreconcilable Differences” below:
BLACK SIREN KIDNAPS LANCE – Quentin Lance (Paul Blackthorne) is kidnaped by Black Siren (Katie Cassidy) and Cayden James (guest star Michael Emerson), who are looking to trade Lance’s life for a weapon of mass destruction.
