‘Arrow’ And ‘Supergirl’ Crossover Expected Says Stephen Amell

Hot on the heels of the news of ‘Supergirl’ headed to the CW to join fellow DCTV brethren, we now get some encouraging news of eventual crossover with ‘Arrow’! While doing promotion for his upcoming take on Casey Jones in ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle: Out of the Shadows”, Stephen Amell was asked the inevitable question. He responded rather confidently with “Do bears ‘you know what’ in the woods?”

He continued in this interview with Loaded Online:

I think that it’s highly likely that, if you have four DC superhero properties on one network, that that is an opportunity that might not ever exist again, and certainly hasn’t ever existed in the history of television. So I expect them to do something.

After ‘Supergirl’ was able to do a cross-network jump with ‘The Flash’, the possibility would seem very real that Stephen Amell’s logic would prove sound.

What do you guys think? Did the crossover with Kara and Barry work with the alternate Earths? Would we see the emerald archer and Supergirl crossover on the same Earth this time? ‘Supergirl’ coming to the CW certainly opens up quite a few possibilities for ‘Arrow’ and the other DC properties.

OLIVER FIGHTS FOR THEA; DONNA SMOAK FACES OFF WITH NOAH KUTTLER — Following the shocking events in the previous episode, Oliver (Stephen Amell) and Diggle (David Ramsey) race to rescue Thea (Willa Holland), while Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards), Curtis (Echo Kellum) and Noah (guest star Tom Amandes) join together to stop Darhk (guest star Neal McDonough).

The next episode of ‘Arrow’, ‘Lost in the Flood’ is on tonight at 8 p.m. ET on the CW.
