The plot synopsis for an upcoming Arrow episode is teasing an insane betrayal ahead of the Crisis On Infinite Earths crossover.
Arrow is ramping up the tension well ahead of the Crisis On Infinite Earths crossover that will have large ramifications for the entire Arrowverse. Seeing as Arrow is in its final season, the writers have found themselves constantly upping the ante, much to the joy of fans. As the show continues in its eighth season, the writers have revealed a major betrayal will be coming for Oliver and co. just head ahead of Crisis On Infinite Earths, with the betrayal more than likely seeping into the unprecedented crossover.
The synopsis is for Arrow’s season sixth episode, which premieres in just 3 weeks. The episode, titled Reset, is directed by David Ramsey, who plays Spartan in the show. This will be Ramsey’s second outing as a director for Arrow.

YOU CAN’T FIGHT YOUR FATE – After being double-crossed by Lyla (guest star Audrey Marie Anderson), Oliver (Stephen Amell) finds himself facing a life or death situation that seems very familiar. Laurel (Katie Cassidy) has the opportunity to make amends with the past. David Ramsey directed the episode written by Onalee Hunter Hughes & Maya Houston (#806).
In the episode ahead of Crisis On Infinite Earths, Oliver and co. will be double-crossed by no one other than Lyla. In the show, Lyla is the leader of A.R.G.U.S and John Diggle’s wife. Luckily, the wait to figure out what exactly will be the fate for Oliver and the rest of the crew will be discovered in just a few weeks time as the episode airs on November 26.

Crisis On Infinite Earths will span two quarters and consist of Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl, Legends of Tomorrow, and Batwoman. The Arrowverse crossover will launch with three episodes in December before concluding with two additional episodes in January.
In addition to the regular cast members of each Arrowverse series, Crisis on Infinite Earths will also feature appearances by Tyler Hoechlin as Superman, Brandon Routh as Clark Kent/Superman and Ray Palmer/The Atom, LaMonica Garrett as the Anti-Monitor, Jon Cryer as Lex Luthor, Tom Cavanagh as Pariah, Elizabeth Tulloch as Lois Lane, Cress Williams as Black Lightning, Kevin Conroy as Bruce Wayne, Johnathon Schaech as Jonah Hex, Erica Durance as Lois Lane, Tom Welling as Clark Kent / Superman, Ashley Scott Will as Huntress, and Burt Ward in an undisclosed role.
