The Amazon listing for The Road to Marvel’s Avengers 4 – The Art of the Marvel Cinematic Universe confirms the plot synopsis for the upcoming sequel to this year’s Infinity War.
Every day that Marvel and Disney don’t reveal the title or trailer for the sequel to this year’s Avengers: Infinity War, it seems that fans get more and more excited. New fan theories about what will happen in Avengers 4 and what it could be called pop up almost every day. A new Amazon.com listing for the film’s artbook may have confirmed the plot synopsis for the Infinity War follow-up, but it’s a reveal that will only tease fans even more.
Given the events that unfolded during the finale of Infinity War, it’s safe to say that many audience members are expecting Avengers 4 to be a very important chapter in the Marvel Cinematic Universe story. The film’s plot synopsis via the Amazon page doubles down on just how important this film will be to the MCU. The synopsis on the page goes as followed.
“The fourth installment in the Avengers saga will be the culmination of 22 interconnected films and will let audiences witness the turning point of this epic journey. This collectible volume features art from films leading up to this thrilling event, including addition behind-the-scenes art, interviews, and photography from Avengers: Infinity War.”
The artbook doesn’t hit shelves until May 7th, four days after the film hits theaters. Marvel’s latest team-up film will hit theaters two months after Captain Marvel, and only two months before Spider-Man: Far From Home. There’s no telling exactly when the trailer or title for Avengers 4 will be revealed, but Marvel’s Kevin Feige was recently quoted as saying that the trailer would be released by the end of this year.
