Joaquin Phoenix’s Arthur Fleck is on the run in the latest batch of set photos taken from the Manhattan set of Todd Philips’ upcoming Joker origin film.
Principal photography on Joker continues in New York with the latest set photos from Hollywood Pipeline showing a distressed Arthur in full Joker makeup running through the streets of Gotham at night. The new set photos are similar to ones released earlier this week with Arthur running from GCPD officers played by Bill Camp and Shea Whigham. It appears Joker will feature a cat and mouse game between Arthur and the Gotham authorities throughout the film. You can check out the latest set photos below!

“Joker” centers around the iconic arch nemesis and is an original, standalone story not seen before on the big screen. Phillips’ exploration of Arthur Fleck (Phoenix), a man disregarded by society, is not only a gritty character study, but also a broader cautionary tale.
Directed by Todd Phillips from a script he co-wrote with Scott Silver, Joker stars Joaquin Phoenix, Zazie Beetz, Bill Camp, Frances Conroy, Brett Cullen, Glenn Fleshler, Douglas Hodge, Marc Maron, Josh Pais, and Shea Whigham.
Joker will be released in theaters on October 4, 2019.
