avengers-infinity-war-promoEarlier this year, production on Marvel’s Avengers: Infinity War moved to Edinburgh, Scotland. Now, the Daily Record reports that cast and crew on the untitled fourth Avengers film are scheduled to return to Scotland next summer.

The outlet reports that cast members are set to return to Scotland to film scenes for Avengers 4. According to an industry source for the outlet, production is scheduled to return to the country in summer 2018 to accommodate the cast’s promotion schedule for Avengers: Infinity War:

“A second Avengers film is pencilled in for filming in Scotland in 2018. People have been put on standby for another movie next year. It won’t be until July because the Infinity War premiere is around May and all the cast will be tied up doing promo for that for a month.”

Locations will include Edinburgh and Glasgow, the latter of which will reportedly double as a U.S. city.

The fourth Avengers film does not arrive in theaters until May 3, 2019, but fans will reunite with Earth’s Mightiest Heroes when Infinity War is released next summer!

Everything the Avengers have fought for has led up to this moment – the fate of Earth and existence itself has never been more uncertain.

Directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, Avengers: Infinity War stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Bettany, Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper, Vin Diesel, Pom Klementieff, Karen Gillan, Sean Gunn, Benedict Cumberbatch, Tom Holland, Sebastian Stan, Chadwick Boseman, Samuel L.
