The cryptic Avengers 4 tease recently posted by the Russo Bros. may have finally been deciphered by a fan on Reddit.
Given the shocking finale of Infinity War, it’s no surprise that almost everything about the sequel has remained so tightly under wraps. That doesn’t keep the directors from teasing fans on social media though, and the Russo Bros. certainly continue to tease Marvel fans eagerly waiting for next year’s follow up to Infinity War, which still has no official title.
After the Russo Bros. recently snapped a photo on the set of Avengers 4 urging fans to “look hard,” the internet went wild with speculation. Now, a fan on Reddit has spotted an interesting background prop from Infinity War that can be spotted in the Russo Bros. image and may reveal the next film’s title in a way you wouldn’t expect. Check out the image below.
What’s particularly interesting about the prop being in this scene is the scene’s title. On the home video release of Infinity War, the chapter title for the scene above is called “Avengers Assemble,” which has been one of the many speculated titles for the sequel for some time now. Avengers Assemble was also the title used for 2012’s The Avengers in some markets outside of the United States. This could be a hint at the official title or it could be just a fun little puzzle for fans to solve.
There’s still no news on the specific date when fans will get to know the title for the next Avengers film but now that Captain Marvel‘s first trailer has finally premiered, it could be revealed any day now. We’ll be sure to keep you updated on all news regarding the sequel as more information becomes available. What do you think the next team-up of Earth’s mightiest Heroes will be titled?
