Filmmaker Kevin Smith shared his theory as to what that cryptic Avengers 4 image from the Russo Bros. could mean on the more recent episode of his podcast Hollywood Babble-On.
As the release date for Avengers 4 creeps closer and closer, there are still more questions surrounding the movie than answers. Even the film’s title has yet to be released and considering fans have seen plenty of images from Spider-Man: Far From Home and footage from Captain Marvel, the lack of Avengers 4 info makes it that much more anticipated by fans. One of the biggest comic book fans in Hollywood, Kevin Smith, recently took to his Hollywood Babble-On podcast, which he hosts with actor Ralph Garman, to share his excitement for the upcoming follow-up to this year’s Avengers: Infinity War.
Although Smith has directed various episodes of The CW’s The Flash and Supergirl, he’s far from shy about his love for Marvel, whether it be the comics or the movies. Joe and Anthony Russo, the directing duo behind Infinity War and Avengers 4, have recently made a hobby out of teasing fans by posting cryptic photos. The latest tease featured an image of a glowing blue light, with not much to go on aside from that. Many people have shared their thoughts on what the image could mean and Smith has finally given his two cents on the topic.
“It looked like a taillight to me. Which, if you’ve wrapped, that’s like, ‘Taillights Fade’, you’re done. But that’s just a guess.”
We’ll be sure to keep you updated on all news regarding Avengers 4 as soon as more information becomes available. What are your theories about the image? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below!
