Rumors of a new look for Hawkeye in Avengers 4 have only grown stronger since actor Jeremy Renner shared an image teasing a new hairstyle for the archer. Now, new set images for the untitled fourth Avengers film have surfaced on Weibo.com, confirming that Hawkeye will don a new suit for his Ronin identity.
While the photos feature Renner in a long trench coat to conceal most of the new outfit, the visible black color and gold lining all but confirm that Renner will be taking on the Ronin identity. Fans have been speculating that tragic events in Avengers: Infinity War will push Clint Barton into adopting a new persona. In the comics, Ronan was an alias used by several Marvel Comics characters with Clint Barton taking on the mantle following the events of Civil War.
