‘Avengers 4’ Will Film In Tokyo, Josh Brolin Confirmed To Return

With Avengers: Infinity War wrapped up and some of its footage already in the wild, it appears that filming for Avengers 4 is currently underway and the film’s production will move over to Tokyo soon.

In a casting call, it was revealed that the film is looking for Japanese gangsters and cafe patrons for a scene that will last from August 17th to the 18th. It was later confirmed by Twitter account @AtlantaFilming that shooting for this scene will take place in Tokyo.

It isn’t clear how long the Avengers shoot will be staying in Japan for and which of the main stars will be on set for the shooting.

The casting call requests male actors between the ages of 20 and 49 with a “slender build” to play the gangsters. It’s worth noting that this shoot will “be a night shoot and will involve rain work and facial prosthetics”. It’s highly likely that these gangsters will be apart of the Yakuza, though we’re not clear as to why they require facial prosthetics. Maybe these gangsters are other-worldly in nature, or are Skrulls?

In addition, Josh Brolin has confirmed his return as the mad titan Thanos in the film. In a brand new post on Instagram, Brolin shared an image of Thanos clutching the Infinity Gauntlet with rage. The caption on the post reads, “Going back for more more MORE! I want it all.”

Best MCU VillainsThe Marvel Cinematic Universe is a branching property. With its stories being told across film and television this juggernaut of a franchise has introduced many characters throughout the years, including superheroes, side characters and anti-heroes, but some of the most interesting are certainly the villains.

Villains are important to give the hero someone to face and to allow them to be heroic, but they should also be their own characters. They shouldn’t exist solely for the hero, but on their own terms. While the MCU has had some bumps along the road when it comes to villains there have been a few that have really shined as unique and interesting.

Here are the 5 best villains of the Marvel Cinematic Universe so far. This list contains spoilers. Click Next to continue.
