The Avengers: Infinity War Blu-Ray audio commentary confirms the theory that the voice of the Asgardian beacon is Thor director Kenneth Branagh.
The opening scene of Avengers: Infinity War marked the theme and mood for the rest of the film by showing the destruction that Thanos and his lackeys unleashed upon the Asgardian fleet. The very first line of dialogue in the film, in fact, was an Asgardian distress signal that has been long rumored to be the voice of Thor director Kenneth Branagh. It appears that this has since been confirmed in the Blu-Ray’s audio commentary. Check out the Tweet revealing this below!
