Avengers: Endgame star Brie Larson shared a new photo featuring herself as a child with Captain America.
Marvel Studios’ Captain Marvel introduced Brie Larson’s Carol Danvers to the MCU and the heroine quickly became a fan-favorite to many. A few months later, Brie Larson’s Captain Marvel joined forces with Chris Evans’ Captain America to take on Thanos in Avengers: Endgame.
However, it turns out future Captain Marvel star Brie Larson and Captain America had already crossed paths during the actress’s childhood. On Thursday, Brie Larson shared a throwback photo of herself as a child with a man dressed up as Captain America, complete with the hero’s trademark shield.

Brie Larson will reprise her role as Carol Danvers in Marvel Studios’ Captain Marvel sequel. Full details on the film are currently unknown, though the recently unveiled Phase 4 line-up did not include Captain Marvel 2, indicating the Brie Larson film is part of the Phase 5 slate. However, Chris Evans’ time as Captain America came to an end with the release of Avengers: Endgame:
