Thor: Ragnarok star Tessa Thompson and Guardians of the Galaxy‘s Pom Klementieff, among others, have shared their reactions to the first Captain Marvel trailer.
Captain Marvel‘s first trailer has been released and star Brie Larson’s Marvel Studios family have taken to Twitter to share their love and support for Marvel’s first female-led film. While the trailer is the first time Captain Marvel is being unveiled to the moviegoers, Larson stars in next year’s Avengers 4, so she has already met the cast and crew of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. There is no confirmation that Thompson is making an appearance in Avengers 4 as Valkyrie, but Klementieff is set to return with the other Guardians of the Galaxy.
The film’s trailer was a huge hit, garnering almost 6.5 million views in just five hours, with many praising Marvel Studios for finally having a female-led film. The decision to include Captain Marvel’s “mohawk helmet” was also praised, with many complimenting its final look in live action despite initial doubts Marvel Studios would even include it in the film.
