Avengers: Endgame star Chris Hemsworth and Deadpool actor Ryan Reynolds defeated Chris Pratt in the superhero fantasy football league.
For this year’s football season, Avengers: Endgame directors Anthony and Joe Russo joined with ESPN fantasy analyst Matthew Berry to put together a fantasy league consisting of Marvel movie actors. The fantasy league was created as a means to raise money and awareness for various charities of each actor’s choice, with Chris Hemsworth, Ryan Reynolds, and Chris Pratt being included among the many players.
While Chris Pratt had been undefeated 4-0 going into the weekend, Monday’s game between the Cleveland Browns and San Franciso shifted the scores in Chris Hemsworth and Ryan Reynolds’ favors. Both Chris Hemsworth and Ryan Reynolds were undefeated for the first four weeks of the league, but Chris Pratt’s winning streak came to an end with week five after being defeated by Ryan Reynolds by a score of 99-93 with Monday’s game.
Week six will pit Ryan Reynolds against Matthew Berry (4-1) while Hemsworth will face off against Chris Pratt (4-1). The Australian Childhood Foundation is the charity Chris Hemsworth chose to play for while Ryan Reynolds plays for the SickKids Foundation of Canada.
