Avengers director and Justice League co-director Joss Whedon will have a panel at this year’s virtual version of SDCC.

Joss Whedon hasn’t had the best time over the past couple of years. The director took over the development of Justice League after Zack Snyder left due to a family tragedy, but the end result was panned by critics and underwhelmed at the box office. Roughly around the same time, several people came out, calling the Avenger director’s behavior inappropriate, specifically around women.

Earlier this summer, Cyborg actor Ray Fisher began taking his own shots at Joss Whedon, later calling the director abusive and unprofessional on set, which was later supported by Kevin Smith. The actor also supported the women who called the director out but stated that he could not say more due to NDAs. But now, in the middle of all of this, Joss Whedon is taking part in a panel at this year’s virtual SDCC.

The panel itself will be taking place on July 24 from 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM. The panel will be titled A Zoom with Joss Whedon. Whether or not he will address these accusations is currently unknown.

What do you all make of this development? Will Joss Whedon address the accusations made against him in regard to Justice League? Let us know what you think in the comments below!

Here’s the official synopsis for Justice League:

Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

Directed by Zack Snyder, Justice League stars Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa, Ray Fisher, Jeremy Irons, Diane Lane, Connie Nielsen, J. K. Simmons, and Ciarán Hinds.

Justice League is now available on Blu-Ray, DVD, and Digital HD. Stay tuned for all the latest news on Joss Whedon, Avengers, and Justice League, and be sure to subscribe to Heroic Hollywood’s YouTube channel for more video content!
