A new Avengers Easter egg was recently found in Chris Hemsworth’s Thor in an integral location for the God of Thunder.
While Chris Hemsworth’s Thor has had an incredible character arc since his first introduction in his solo film, a newly discovered Easter egg points towards his Avengers role in an important location for the God of Thunder. The film saw Odin strip the hero of his powers after he stormed Jotunheim without his father’s permission,c down to Earth as a mere mortal. The scene from Chris Hemsworth’s Thor shows S.H.I.E.L.D. scientists examining Mjolnir after it crash landed in New Mexico.
But a fan spotted a sneaky Avengers Easter egg in the scene where scientists are examining Mjolnir, with the impact site creating the iconic “A” logo associated with the team. The ground Mjolnir is resting on creates the “A” while the ditch around the weapon makes the circle to finish the logo. It’s a clever reference and it’s surprising that it’s taken this long to be discovered. Take a look at the Easter egg in Thor below.
