Avengers: Endgame has officially passed the $500 million mark at the domestic box office after managing another $40.6 million on Friday.

That’s a 74% drop compared the film’s massive $157 million opening Friday, earning it the second highest-grossing non-opening Friday behind Star Wars: The Force Awakens ($49M). After crushing records with a $357 million opening weekend, Avengers: Endgame is expected to swing another $146.9 million this weekend, which would place it as the best second weekend at the box office in North American history — behind Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ second weekend of $149 million — and past the $600 million mark in a record-setting 10 days domestically.

Endgame currently sits at $514 million in the states with another $1.4 billion overseas to give it a worldwide total of $1.914 billion. According to Forbes, the film will pass the $2 billion mark worldwide by the end of tonight.

Avengers: Endgame serves as both a follow up to Avengers: Infinity War as well as the conclusion to the 22 films that came before Marvel officially ends Phase 3 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe with Spider-Man: Far From Home in July.

Here is the plot synopsis for Avengers: Endgame:

The grave course of events set in motion by Thanos that wiped out half the universe and fractured the Avengers ranks compels the remaining Avengers to take one final stand in Marvel Studios’ grand conclusion to twenty-two films, “Avengers: Endgame.”
