UPDATED: ‘Avengers: Endgame’ Three-Hour Runtime Possibly Confirmed

Avengers Endgame Marvel Studios MCU Captain Marvel

UPDATE: AMC has now removed the runtime from its website. The original story follows.

AMC currently lists Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Endgame as having a runtime of three hours and two minutes.

Avengers: Endgame is set to conclude the first decade of Marvel Cinematic Universe stories, collectively named The Infinity Saga, and the highly-anticipated epic has been rumored to clock in a just over three hours. Now, AMC has listed Endgame as having a runtime of 182 minutes (3 hours and 2 minutes), which would make it the longest entry in the MCU franchise to date, surpassing the 149-minute runtime of Infinity War.

Considering Endgame still has a sizeable cast of main characters despite Thanos’ decimation taking out several key characters, perhaps a three-hour runtime is exactly what is needed to properly conclude what many expect to be the swan song for many longtime heroes? Do you think a three-hour runtime is too long? Would you like to see an intermission if this runtime is correct? Let us know below!

The grave course of events set in motion by Thanos that wiped out half the universe and fractured the Avengers ranks compels the remaining Avengers to take one final stand in Marvel Studios’ grand conclusion to twenty-two films, “Avengers: Endgame.”

Directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, Endgame stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo,  Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Don Cheadle, Paul Rudd, Brie Larson, Karen Gillan, Danai Gurira, Benedict Wong, Jon Favreau, Bradley Cooper as Rocket, with Gwyneth Paltrow, with Josh Brolin as Thanos.

Avengers: Endgame will be released in theaters on April 26, 2019.
