Avengers: Endgame had its fair share of deaths, including the sacrifice of Scarlett Johansson’s Black Widow which the writers called heroic.
While speaking with SYFY Wire, Avengers: Endgame writers Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely talked a bit the death of Scarlett Johansson’s Black Widow. As you all remember, both Black Widow and Hawkeye went to Vormir to retrieve the Soul Stone. However, it would require one of them to sacrifice themselves so the other may have the stone. After a brief fight, it was ultimately Black Widow who made the leap to her death.
While speaking on the death of the character, writer Christopher Markus explained the decision. He said that if Hawkeye made the leap it would have been tragic. With Scarlett Johansson’s Black Widow taking the leap, however, it’s more heroic:
“With Clint it would be a tragic beat, because he wants to get back with his family and it would deny him that. With Natasha, it’s sad, but it’s a deeply heroic beat,” Markus told SYFY WIRE at San Diego Comic-Con. That this is what she’s been fighting for. She went from red in her ledger to the absolute peak of heroism. You have to go to her every time. It’s a bigger, more satisfying, more monumental story beat. With Clint, it’s just sort of like, ‘Oh, that’s…’”
Stephen McFeely finished the statement using a different word:

New Spider-Man: Far From Home concept art reveals alternate costume designs for Jake Gyllenhaal's Mysterio.
Marvel fans have been clamoring to see Mysterio in a live-action film ever since the release of Sam Raimi's first Spider-Man movie. Nearly two decades later, Mysterio finally made his way into a Spider-Man film with the release of Marvel Studios and Sony's Far From Home, with Jake Gyllenhaal portraying the classic Spidey foe.
While the writers incorporated elements of previous Marvel Studios films for the origin of Jake Gyllenhaal's Mysterio, this take on the character was largely faithful to the source material, especially in terms of the villain's costume design. However, new concept illustrations reveal alternate designs for Jake Gyllenhaal's Mysterio suit were considered, some of which are notably different from the comic book outfit with entirely different color schemes.
