Avengers: Endgame star Chris Hemsworth revealed to the Daily Telegraph that he will take a break from filming movies for the remainder of the year.
Chris Hemsworth’s line-up of 2019 films kicked off with Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Endgame and the Australian actor will next be seen in Men in Black: International in June. Furthermore, Chris Hemsworth filmed scenes for Kevin Smith’s upcoming Jay and Silent Bob Reboot earlier this year, leaving the actor will little downtime over the past 12 months.
Now, Chris Hemsworth has announced he will take a break from Hollywood productions for the remainder of the year. As the Avengers star explained, the reason for his sabbatical is so he can spend more time with his wife Elsa Pataky and their three children:
“This year I probably won’t shoot anything. I just want to be at home now with my kids. They are at a very important age. They are still young and they are aware when I leave more than before.”
Men In Black: International will be released in theaters on June 14, 2019, while Avengers: Endgame is still playing in theaters.
The grave course of events set in motion by Thanos that wiped out half the universe and fractured the Avengers ranks compels the remaining Avengers to take one final stand in Marvel Studios’ grand conclusion to twenty-two films, “Avengers: Endgame.”
