‘Avengers: Endgame’ Has No Time For A Bathroom Break

Avengers Endgame

Better hit the bathroom and not drink anything for a few hours prior to seeing Avengers: Endgame, because there is no intermission for the film’s massive 3-hour runtime.

Now confirmed by head of Marvel Studios, Kevin Feige, there will be no downtime during the upcoming blockbuster. Not just meaning no intermission, but if you get up to use the restroom during the film, you’re guaranteed to miss something important according to Kevin Feige when speaking with io9.

“What I’ve always said is a movie is as long as it should be. And we are not fans of overindulging movies. We are not fans of laborious lengths for no reason. We are fans of movies that you wish didn’t end. Movies that you want to see again as soon as it’s over. And movies that you just don’t ever find a good time to run out to the bathroom. That’s when a movie’s working. And if a movie doesn’t feel like that to us we continue to trim, we continue to shape, we continue to bring that time down. That happened to a certain extent on this movie. But we got to a point where it feels very exciting and goes by very quickly and in the end is the perfect length.”

If Kevin Feige and the Russo Brothers say the film needs to be 3 hours, than the film needs to be 3 hours and you won’t hear any complaints from me. Let’s just hope I don’t have someone with the 64oz. “medium” sized soda in front of me in the theater.

What do you think of the massive runtime of Avengers: Endgame? Is it just right of will it be the endgame for your bladder? Lets us know in the comments below!

The grave course of events set in motion by Thanos that wiped out half the universe and fractured the Avengers ranks compels the remaining Avengers to take one final stand in Marvel Studios’ grand conclusion to twenty-two films, “Avengers: Endgame.”

Directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, Avengers: Endgame stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo,  Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Don Cheadle, Paul Rudd, Brie Larson, Karen Gillan, Danai Gurira, Benedict Wong, Jon Favreau, Bradley Cooper, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Josh Brolin.

Avengers: Endgame will be released in theaters on April 26, 2019.
