‘Avengers: Endgame’ Foreign Voice Actor Drops Major Spoiler

Avengers Endgame Rocket Raccoon Bradley Cooper

During an interview with Unocero, the voice actor for Rocket Raccoon in one of the foreign dubs of Avengers: Endgame dropped a major spoiler for the film.

Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Endgame is set to conclude the first decade of Marvel Cinematic Universe stories, collectively known as The Infinity Saga, and fans are expecting the epic film to mark the final appearance of at least one longtime hero. Now, Sergio Zurita, who voices Rocket Raccoon in a foreign dub of Avengers: Endgame, reiterated previous comments by Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige about a key character meeting their demise:

“I can tell you that the movie takes you from laughter to tears. A key character dies . I can not say more, it’s more, I do not know if I already said more.”

After teasing  “irreversible” and “very interesting, very interesting” things that happen to Thor and noting Rocket Raccoon will have a dialogue scene with an unexpected character, Sergio Zurita discussed Rocket Raccoon’s state of mind following the devastating loss of Groot after Thanos’ decimation:

“The movie looks intense, good. Rocket is in another state of mind. Rocket is always angry and throwing a bullet and now Rocket is brooding. Moreover, there is a time when Rocket is so sad that he does not care to be told in certain ways that it bothers him that they always tell him.”

The grave course of events set in motion by Thanos that wiped out half the universe and fractured the Avengers ranks compels the remaining Avengers to take one final stand in Marvel Studios’ grand conclusion to twenty-two films, “Avengers: Endgame.”

Directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, Endgame stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo,  Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Don Cheadle, Paul Rudd, Brie Larson, Karen Gillan, Danai Gurira, Benedict Wong, Jon Favreau, Bradley Cooper, with Gwyneth Paltrow, and Josh Brolin.

Avengers: Endgame will be released in theaters on April 26, 2019.
