‘Avengers: Endgame’ Directors Remember Stan Lee One Year After His Death

Avengers: Endgame directors Anthony and Joe Russo paid tribute to Stan Lee on the one-year anniversary of his death.

Exactly one year ago, Marvel Comics Stan Lee passed away at the age of 95. Of course, Stan Lee left behind a great legacy following a long career as a comic book writer, editor, publisher, producer, and actor.

Through the years, Stan Lee made cameo appearances in nearly every feature film based on the Marvel Comics characters he created. In Avengers: Endgame, Stan Lee made what would be his final appearance as an anti-war man from the ’70s and the directors of the Marvel Studios epic paid tribute to the beloved icon in a post on their official Instagram with a caption that read: “Miss you, sir.”
