The new Avengers: Endgame standee promises a cosmic adventure of epic proportions.
The new image of the latest Avengers: Endgame standee comes to us courtesy of the personal Twitter page of Asad Ayaz, the President of Marketing for Walt Disney Studios.
Per the image, we get a bunch of the Avengers we have come to love all gathered around the now-iconic letter “A” for this Endgame standee. This bunch, however, is not quite like any of the previous team-ups we have seen before. Of course, there are the OG four: Tony Stark, Steve Rogers, Bruce Banner and Thor. Then we have familiar side faces like Black Widow and Hawkeye, though he is sporting a new hair-do. Then there is the latest addition, Brie Larson’s Captain America. The more interesting additions to this Endgame standee include Rocket Racoon, Okoye, and Nebula. We are not accustomed to seeing them alongside our main clutter of now-desperate heroes.
Our new Avengers are set against an eye-popping, candy-colored purple. It seems at home in a Guardians of the Galaxy movie, but it takes up the entire standee. This suggests that the cosmic MCU will indeed play a significant role in Avengers: Endgame. We see Tony’s spaceship, so we know that at least some of the backdrop is meant to signify space. But what if some of it signifies the similar-looking Quantum Realm? Or perhaps a part of it that we haven’t yet seen?
