‘Avengers: Endgame’ Thanos Toy May Have Revealed Major Spoilers

Avengers Endgame Marvel Studios Chris Evans Infinity War

Build-A Bear-Workshop has unveiled a new Thanos Teddy Bear and the voice clips for the toy may have revealed major Avengers: Endgame spoilers.

Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Endgame is set to conclude the first decade of Marvel Cinematic Universe stories, collectively known as The Infinity Saga, and fans have been speculating on how the surviving heroes of Thanos’ decimation might avenge their fallen comrades for nearly a year. One of the more prevalent theories suggests the Avengers will steal at least one Infinity Stone from Thanos and one hero might even wield the item to defeat the Mad Titan, possibly through the use of a gauntlet made by Tony Stark.

Now, a recently unveiled Thanos Teddy Bear features lines from the Mad Titan and two of them may have confirmed the powerful villain will lose the Infinity Stones to our heroes. The first line, “I had the power in my grasp,” is noteworthy because Thanos is suggesting he has since lost that power. However, the second line is far more intriguing as it suggests someone unexpected, at least to Thanos, will be able to harness the power of the stones:

“How are you doing this? You do not have the will to wield the power of the infinity stones!”

It may be worth noting that toys for previous Marvel Studios projects have not always accurately reflected the film itself, so these lines may have to be taken with a grain of salt.

The grave course of events set in motion by Thanos that wiped out half the universe and fractured the Avengers ranks compels the remaining Avengers to take one final stand in Marvel Studios’ grand conclusion to twenty-two films, “Avengers: Endgame.”

Directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, AvengersEndgame stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo,  Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Don Cheadle, Paul Rudd, Brie Larson, Karen Gillan, Danai Gurira, Benedict Wong, Jon Favreau, Bradley Cooper, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Josh Brolin.

Avengers: Endgame is scheduled to be released in theaters on April 26, 2019.
