‘Avengers: Endgame’ Special Look May Hint At A Return To The Past

MCU Cosmic’s Jeremy Conrad may have spotted a familiar Guardians of the Galaxy location in the latest preview for Avengers: Endgame.

Today, Marvel Studios released a special look at Avengers: Endgame and one shot featured many surviving Infinity War heroes aboard The Benatar as it departed am an unnamed planet. While it would be easy to assume the planet was Earth or perhaps even Titan (where the ship was last seen), Jeremy Conrad noted the surface is remarkably similar to Morag, the abandoned planet featured in the opening of Guardians of the Galaxy. While there is no confirmation that these planets are the same, they both have a reddish moon/planet nearby, potentially indicating they are same Guardians of the Galaxy location.

Fans have theorized the Avengers will use Quantum Realm to travel back to key moments in the MCU’s history and could potentially seek out the Infinity Stones to prevent Thanos from collecting them in the first place. If this theory proves to be correct, it would make sense for Morag to appear as it was the original location of the Power Stone before Star-Lord stole it in Guardians of the Galaxy.

Do you think the Guardians of the Galaxy planet will return in Endgame? Fans will find if any of these theories are true when the film hits theaters this month.

The grave course of events set in motion by Thanos that wiped out half the universe and fractured the Avengers ranks compels the remaining Avengers to take one final stand in Marvel Studios’ grand conclusion to twenty-two films, “Avengers: Endgame.”

Directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, AvengersEndgame stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo,  Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Don Cheadle, Paul Rudd, Brie Larson, Karen Gillan, Danai Gurira, Benedict Wong, Jon Favreau, Bradley Cooper, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Josh Brolin.

Avengers: Endgame will be released in theaters on April 26, 2019.
