‘Avengers: Infinity War’ Set Photo Confirms The Vision Will Appear

A new 'Avengers: Infinity War' set photo taken on location in Edinburgh, Scotland confirms that Paul Bettany will appear as The Vision.

Avengers: Infinity War will mark the culmination of the Marvel Cinematic Universe story and is set to unite a number of heroes, old and new, in the fight against the sinister Thanos. While a handful of those heroes have been confirmed to appear in the film, the inclusion of many characters remains subject to speculation. Now a new set photo taken from the streets of Edinburgh, Scotland, where the project is currently filming, confirms what many already assumed: The Vision will appear in Avengers: Infinity War.

The photo was posted by Reddit user Squeezycakes17 and features Paul Bettany, presumably, in full costume alongside a crew member who is holding his cape.

Few details on the film and The Vision’s role are known at this point, though considering the character is empowered by one of the Infinity Stones being sought by Thanos, one can imagine the hero will come face to face with the Mad Titan at some point during the film.

Avengers: Infinity War will be directed by Joe and Anthony Russo with a script written by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely.

Avengers: Infinity War will be released in theaters on May 4, 2018.
