‘Avengers: Infinty War’ Snap Was Totally Satisfying For Thanos

Avengers Infinity War Thanos Marvel Studios

According to the pages of the The Art of Avengers: Infinity War book, Josh Brolin claims the Mad Titan Thanos was “Totally Satisfied” with his infamous Snap.

A quote from Brolin in The Art of Avengers: Infinity War has the actor go into detail about the Mad Titan’s motivations for destroying half the people in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Most who believe he is a natural killer and villain with his mind on destruction all the time would be sorely mistaken. If you remember, he doesn’t even kill the Avengers in Infinity War unless it is absolutely necessary. His reasoning for the “Snappening” has to do with what he believes is the only way for the universe to continue in harmony. So when the snap goes down and people start to fade to dust, Thanos feels nothing but immediate satisfaction.

“He’s trying to fix the universe. He’s trying to balance the cosmos, and by doing that he’s having to destroy a lot of things. So there’s the warrior Thanos, and then there’s the Thanos that you see in the hut. I personally like the hut Thanos because it’s much more real. He’s perfectly and totally satisfied having accomplished what he set out to do.”

The events of Infinity War were very tragic and exacted a heavy toll on thanos. But he did what he thought was right for the good of life in the universe. At the end of the day, the now damegd Titan feels the losses but among everything else is satisfied with his mission finally being accomplished. It will be interesting to see how Earth’s Mightiest Heroes attempt to undo his satisfaction when Avengers 4 hits theaters next year.
