Concept artist Jerad S. Marantz shared an early design for Thanos’ Outriders in Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Infinity War.
During the battle of Wakanda in the final act of Avengers: Infinity War, Thanos’ underlings unleashed the Outriders on the Earth-bound heroes while the Mad Titan dealt with the remaining heroes who traveled to the planet Titan. While our heroes were able to hold their own against the Outriders, especially after Thor arrived with Stormbreaker on hand, Thanos proved to be too formidable for them and the Mad Titan ultimately succeed in his mission to use the Infinity Stones to erase half of the population in the universe.
Now, concept artist Jerad S. Marantz has shared an early concept illustration for the Outriders on his official Instagram account. While the color scheme for the Outriders is similar to the design featured in Avengers: Infinity War, the version seen in the illustration appears to a bit slimmer and more humanoid.
