‘Avengers: Infinity War’ Theory Says Key To Defeating Thanos Is In Opening Line

Avengers Infinity War Thanos Theory

The Avengers found themselves in quite the pickle at the end of the last film to say the least; fortunately, the key to defeating Thanos may lie in the opening line of dialogue Avengers: Infinity War, according to a new theory.

The theory, gaining popularity on the internet, comes to us from Reddit user chihdo and suggests everything comes down to whether or not the Avengers choose to live with or run from their destiny in the upcoming follow-up Avengers: Endgame. It is important to note that the theory defines destiny as:

“fixed towards any direction, to remain fixed, to accept stagnation.”

In its simplest form, the Infinity War theory suggests that those Avengers who have chosen to face their destiny will be the ones who defeat Thanos in the next film, as long as they do not decide to try to flee. On the flip side, those Avengers who got dusted or died in Infinity War tried to run from their destiny or, as in the cases of Loki and Gamora, straight-up tried cheating destiny.
