Avengers: Endgame star Pom Klementieff has joined the cast of Tom Cruise’s seventh and eighth Mission: Impossible films.
Director Christopher McQuarrie and Tom Cruise will once again team-up for the next two chapters of the Mission: Impossible film series. Both Mission: Impossible sequels will be shot back-to-back and now Avengers: Endgame star Pom Klementieff will join Tom Cruise for both films in an undisclosed role.
Christopher McQuarrie announced Pom Klementieff’s casting in the next two Mission: Impossible films on his official Instagram account and while he did not divulge details on her character, he did suggest the Avengers star will play a femme fatale. In addition to Tom Cruise and Pom Klementieff, Mission: Impossible 7 will star Rebecca Ferguson and Hayley Atwell.

Pom Klementieff made her first appearance as Mantis in the James Gunn’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 and is expected to reprise her role when the third film in the series begins production. Most recently, Pom Klementieff portrayed Mantis in Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame.
