‘Avengers: Infinity War’ Villains Compared To Characters In Disney’s ‘Lilo & Stitch’

Fans have noted similarities between Thanos’ underlings in Avengers: Infinity War and two characters in Disney’s Lilo & Stitch.

Avengers: Infinity War introduced the Children of Thanos to the Marvel Cinematic Universe and two of those minions have been compared to Captain Gantu and the Grand Councilwoman from Disney’s animated film Lilo & Stitch. Though Gantu and the Grand Councilwoman share little to no personality traits with the Thanos underlings, fans have noted the visual similarities between the pairings.

In Disney’s Lilo & Stitch, the Grand Councilwoman is the Leader of the United Galactic Federation who was nearly removed from power by the villainous Dr. Hamsterviel. While the Grand Councilwoman was an advocate for galactic order, Gantu was a Captain of the Galactic Federation who was far more authoritarian in his approach to maintaining law and order, often arresting alleged criminal without due process.
