Fans Are Freaking Out Over The Fear Gas Suit From ‘Batman Begins’

Batman Begins Fear Gas

Fans are freaking out over the fact that the fear gas suit from Christian Bale’s Batman Begins was real and not CGI.

Christopher Nolan’s 2005 Batman reboot Batman Begins isn’t the most financially successful Batman film of all-time, but it was well-received and earned him enough clout to have a sequel greenlit and spark the director’s entire career. Batman Begins mainly focused on the Caped Crusader’s conflicts with the League of Shadows, Cillian Murphey’s Scarecrow and the Mafia.

During Batman Begins, Christian Bale’s Dark Knight sprays Scarecrow with fear gas, giving him a taste of his own medicine. The images that we saw during this scene could easily be described as nightmare-inducing, as the look Batman had when we saw him through Scarecrow’s point-of-view was something that no fan will ever forget. It looked like it was made out of CGI so many fans undoubtedly assumed that the entire suit was computer-generated. This turned out not to be true as behind-the-scenes footage shows Batman with a full fear gas suit, interacting with Scarecrow. You can check out the footage below.
