During the Gotham panel at the Television Critics Association press tour, showrunner and executive producer John Stephens discussed David Mazouz’s performance as Batman.
Gotham is set to conclude this season after five years of exploring the origins of the eponymous city’s most famous citizens and fans will finally get their first look at Batman in the final episode of the series. As Gamespot’s Chris E. Hayner notes, showrunner John Stephens explained that David Mazouz will be seen behind the mask and will use a growl for his Batman’s voice. However, an actor over 6 feet will also be used to bring Batman to life on the series.
