The global press tour for Zack Snyder’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is officially underway in Beijing, China. Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill and the director are currently there promoting the upcoming movie, and to mark the occasion, they brought a brief new clip with them, which was shown right before their first stage appearance.

We don’t have a clear look at the clip itself, but we can hear some new dialogue from Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman in an extended scene from the latest trailer, which also features Ben Affleck’s Bruce Wayne. You can check out the clip (thanks to Twitter user @ReelSeanMurphy) right below and sound-off your thoughts in the comment section.

Fearing the actions of a god-like super hero left unchecked, Gotham City’s own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis’s most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it’s ever known before.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice opens in theaters on March 25, 2016.

well gal gadot has her regular accent so if that’s the worst of it i’ll take it because she sounds good saying it and that is a very wonder woman thing to say.

    • stlang

I don’t care what her accent sounds like. What does the amazonian accent sound like anyways?

      • Victor Thomas

Depends on the interpretation. The thing i can see be a problem with it is if she has a particular accent and if we see the amazonians and they somehow don’t have the same accent it can throw you off. Look at ben affleck one of the main reasons people are hyped about his interpretation is he was able to rid himself of his boston accent. All in all keep in mind i’m happy with sounds completely so far.

        • Vegas82

Unless she has spent more time away from the Amazons than with them in recent times. Acquiring a new accent isn’t unheard of.

          • Victor Thomas

Well she’s 5,000 years old in this movie so it’s possible but in my theory she’s been off the island since world war 1 which was 102 years ago so shes been around the same people and places for 4,000 years and in most interpretations she stays on her island for a long time before breaking out, so it’ll be kind of hard getting rid of an accent after that long, so if that’s her accent i’d prefer if the amazons have the same or a similar accent if not it isn’t a deal breaker just a pet peeve of mine watching movies and i think something like hey i’ve been aboard so no i have a different accent is lazy . Again this my opinion and theory and to be clear I LIKE THE WAY SHE SOUNDS.

Chris Hemsworth has a different accent than the rest of the Asgardians. If his fellow Aussie, Cate Blanchett, plays Hela in the next Thor film, he won’t be the only Norse god who sounds Australian — assuming Blanchett uses her native accent.

          • Vegas82

It all depends on the person.

          • Just a few things, first, just because the new movie with her is focused around WWI, doesn’t mean that’s all the time she’s been away from Themyscira, it’s just one point in time that she’s away. Being 3,000 – 5,000 years old she could have left many years before that. Secondly, as someone who has traveled to areas with foreign accents, I can tell you that after having lived in one area for over 30 years, I started to pick up the accent of my new local area in matter of a year. So by that equation, 100 years in one area, may be enough to lose that accent of the previous 3,000. Does that make sense?

I’d love to hear WW with a Boston accent.

          • Victor Thomas

            LMAO

          • sintheticreality2

“Dat Clahk Kent is wicked smaht!”

        • unpaidpundit

As Bruce Wayne, Ben Affleck, is speaking in a clenched jawed way that reminds me somewhat of FDR, although FDR sounded more British. I’m wondering whether Affleck is doing his impression of an American “aristocrat?”

          • Victor Thomas

Though i disagree Thor’s accent is Australian in the movie, i completely agree on your assessment of Ben Affleck’s accent. I’d like to who his dialect coach was.

  • Whatsupdoc

Its kind of nice to hear a ‘foreign’ character in a CB movie with an accent other than British. Sounds Greek to me, which is great considering the origin they’re going with.

  • Carl

    Not digging it.

    • Whatsupdoc

      What a surprise. 😉

      • Carl

Well it’s no secret that I’m not convinced by Gal Gadot yet. I hope she impresses in the movie.

        • Vegas82

I doubt you’ll be happy with her performance regardless.

          • Carl

I will if it is good. I expect Ben Affleck and Jessie Eisenberg to be good.

  • sintheticreality2

I love this. She sounds like she could pass for Greek, which is how Diana should sound, with some Mediterranean flavor.

    • unpaidpundit

Actually, the Amazons who fought a war with Athens lived on the North shore of the Black Sea, which is modern day Russia and Ukraine. This was Scythian territory at the time, so perhaps the Amazons were Scythians, but no one knows what a Scythian language sounded like.

      • sintheticreality2

In the comic lore, WW is the daughter of Zeus, who is a Greek god. Presumably then, having an accent that could pass as Greek would be apt. Then again, who knows? That snippet of audio was fine by me. She’s got an exotic voice, which fits WW well.

  • unpaidpundit

I can’t make out exactly what she says. I hear, “You know it’s true what they say about … garbled … Born with no natural inclination to share.”

    • Carl

I think she is saying “little boys” but it’s hard to make out.

That wouldn’t be a true statement though. lol

      • ScottyB608

I thought it was bad boys lol
