Now, Zack Snyder is commemorating the fifth anniversary of the filming of that Batman v Superman scene on Vero, with a new photo of Ezra Miller. It’s from the scene where, while out of The Flash’s costume, Barry Allen manages to stop the mugging of a convenience store owner. While The Flash’s super-speed isn’t perceptible by the store owner’s security cam, Batman is able to slow the footage down enough to see that The Flash is a Metahuman after all.

While Batman v Superman director Zack Snyder is no longer working at Warner Bros. on DC Films projects, Ezra Miller is still in-line to star in The Flash. The project has seen a massive turnover rate of writers and directors, including the likes of Phil Lord and Chris Miller, Rick Famuyiwa, Joby Harold, John Francis Daley, Jonathan Goldstein, and even Ezra Miller and Grant Morrison; currently, Andy Muschietti and Christina Hodson are in line to work on the movie. It seems entirely possible that, by the time the movie is actually made, The CW’s take on The Flash could have ended.

Ezra Miller was last seen as The Flash in Justice League. Here’s the official synopsis for the film:

Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

Directed by Zack Snyder, with post-production duties handled by Joss Whedon, Justice League stars Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa, Ray Fisher, Jeremy Irons, Diane Lane, Connie Nielsen, J. K. Simmons, and Ciarán Hinds.

Justice League is now available on Blu-Ray, DVD, and Digital HD.
