With Justice League hitting theatres in just a few short weeks, Gal Gadot discussed why she and Batman are the perfect leaders for the superhero team.

In all of the footage we’ve seen from Justice League, it’s clear that Diana Prince and Bruce Wayne are taking the lead to stop Steppenwolf. After all, they were the first to discover that he’s coming, and they have the most amount of context regarding the situation. Wayne and Prince are also seen making efforts to recruit the League, which clearly makes them the leaders the group needs.

However, when speaking with SFX Magazine, Gadot, who plays Wonder Woman, went into specifics as to why she thinks her character and Batman are the best people for the job:

“I think that both of them are very alpha-type. Both of them deal with their past and both of them will do everything to make a better world and fight crime and fight evil. So we share a lot in common. It’s like yin and yang. They work well together. He has everything that she doesn’t, she has everything that he doesn’t, and they work for the same cause…She’s warmer and more loving and open, and he’s more sophisticated.”

Affleck agreed with Gadot’s sentiments and added on her comments regarding Wonder Woman’s character and his:

“Tough but sophisticated. He’s an asshole. It’s a total typecast.”
