Ben Affleck Batman Zack Snyder Cut Justice League

New concept art from Justice League sees Ben Affleck stepping into an impressive tactical Batman suit for the fight against Steppenwolf.

Zack Snyder’s Justice League showed fans the version of the film they desperately wanted to see, including more footage from Ben Affleck’s Batman throughout his battle to keep Earth safe. As part of his fight, the Caped Crusader dons a new tactical suit filled with gadgets to help him stand against the Parademons and Steppenwolf. And a newly revealed set of concept art shows off how the design evolved from his debut in Batman v Superman.

Concept artist Jerad S. Marantz posted his design of Ben Affleck’s Batman on Instagram, explaining that when approaching Justice League he used an older image from Batman v Superman to work from when creating the tactical costume. The new look is made up of a number of plates strapped together over the top of a gray combat suit. The suit translated well into Justice League, making Ben Affleck look truly formidable for the team’s battle. Take a look below.

Here is the official synopsis for the Snyder Cut:

“In ZACK SNYDER’S JUSTICE LEAGUE, determined to ensure Superman’s (Henry Cavill) ultimate sacrifice was not in vain, Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) aligns forces with Diana Prince (Gal Gadot) with plans to recruit a team of metahumans to protect the world from an approaching threat of catastrophic proportions. The task proves more difficult than Bruce imagined, as each of the recruits must face the demons of their own pasts to transcend that which has held them back, allowing them to come together, finally forming an unprecedented league of heroes. Now united, Batman (Affleck), Wonder Woman (Gadot), Aquaman (Jason Momoa), Cyborg (Ray Fisher) and The Flash (Ezra Miller) may be too late to save the planet from Steppenwolf, DeSaad and Darkseid and their dreadful intentions.”
