Justice League director Zack Snyder has revealed a new photo of Ben Affleck’s Batman in the Knightmare suit.

During a premonition sequence in Zack Snyder’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Ben Affleck’s Batman rocked a Knightmare suit. In this sequence from the Zack Snyder film, Ben Affleck’s Batman imagined a post-apocalyptic world controlled by a totalitarian-esque Superman. In the lengthy scene which was highly praised by fans, Ben Affleck’s Batman is attacked by parademons and confronted by Superman himself. The Knightmare sequence was intended to plant the seeds for future Justice League films.

Of course, now that Ben Affleck’s Batman has left the DC Extended Universe and Zack Snyder isn’t directing any future films in the franchise, the Knightmare sequence has turned moot. Despite the lack of future content in the DCEU from Ben Affleck and Zack Snyder, the director took to Vero to share an image of Batman rocking the Knightmare suit. You can check out the brand new photo of Ben Affleck’s Batman in the Knightmare suit shared by Zack Snyder below.

The photo of Ben Affleck’s Batman in the Knightmare suit is in relatively high quality, as you can easily zoom into every crevice on the suit. Zack Snyder has been using Vero as his platform of choice to share behind-the-scenes footage and images from his DCEU days. To add further fuel to the fire, Justice League stars Ben Affleck and Gal Gadot among others took to social media to rally alongside Zack Snyder.
