Batman v Superman concept art offers a very early look at the Batsuit that would eventually be worn by Ben Affleck in the film.
The Batsuit Ben Affleck wore in Batman v Superman is often considered one of the best looks for Batman ever put to screen. Ben Affleck’s Batman was the first to adopt the comic book grey suit since Adam West’s 1966 version of the character. The Batman v Superman Batsuit is also heavily influenced by Frank Miller’s The Dark Knight Returns.
On Instagram, concept artist Jerad S. Marantz shared a Batsuit design from the early days of Batman v Superman. The Batsuit concept art doesn’t look to far off from the one Ben Affleck would eventually wear, but Marantz also talks about how they were tying to nail the fabric during this stage.
