Ben Affleck Debuts New ‘Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice’ Footage On Jimmy Kimmel Live

batman-v-superman-final-trailer-4Ben Affleck stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live tonight and he didn’t come empty handed as the actor brought some brand new footage from the highly-anticipated Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice. The clip is short but sweet and features some awesome footge of The Dark Knight throwing down with The Man Of Steel that we got a glimpse of in that last trailer. Check out the clip below and let us know what you think in the comments section afterwards.

UPDATE: That wasn’t all that Ben brought with him. You can also check out Jimmy Kimmel’s hilarious “deleted scene” from the the film below.

Following his titanic struggle against General Zod, Metropolis has been razed to the ground and Superman is the most controversial figure in the world. While for many he is still an emblem of hope, a growing number of people consider him a threat to humanity, seeking justice for the chaos he has brought to Earth.

As far as Bruce Wayne is concerned, Superman is clearly a danger to society. He fears for the future of the world with such a reckless power left ungoverned, and so he dons his mask and cape to right Superman’s wrongs. The rivalry between them is furious, fueled by bitterness and vengeance, and nothing can dissuade them from waging this war. However, a dark new threat arises in the form of a third man: one who has a power greater than either of them to endanger the world and cause total destruction.

Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice hits theaters on March 25, 2016.

Epic stuff. Is that synopsis new? I find the end line pretty interesting.

It’s certainly phrased differently than previous synopses I’ve read.

I did not write that I did not like it. Snyder’s movies always look great , but the guy was exaggerating with “green screen”.

  • *dies laughing at the deleted scene* 😀 good job Kimmel. really upped your game here *jokerclaps*

The skit was pretty funny. The scene is a reminder of how strong Snyder is as a visual director, and how Fong is a good collaborator for somebody like him. That said, I sure do hope that wasn’t the opening salvo, because those are some pretty major bumps Supes is expecting a regular guy in an armored suit to walk away from.

    Goosebumps.
