Zack Snyder Shares New Photo Of Ben Affleck In ‘Batman V Superman’

Zack Snyder has shared a never-before-seen photo of Ben Affleck suited up as Batman from 2016’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

Ben Affleck made his debut as the DC Extended Universe’s Bruce Wayne in the Zack Snyder-directed Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. While the movie itself received mixed reactions, Ben Affleck’s portrayal of Batman remains a favorite for many fans.

One of the most memorable scenes involving Ben Affleck’s Batman was the warehouse fight, in which the Dark Knight fought several of Lex Luthor’s henchman in a successful attempt to rescue Superman’s mother, Martha Kent. Now, Zack Snyder has taken to his official Vero account to drop a new Batman v Superman photo of Ben Affleck’s Batman in the midst of taking down one of Luthor’s goons.

Of course, Ben Affleck’s time as Batman has officially come to an end after just two appearances in Batman v Superman and Justice League as well as a cameo in Suicide Squad. Now, Robert Pattinson will bring a new version of Bruce Wayne to life in Matt Reeves’ The Batman and while a previous rumor suggested this incarnation of the character would be a younger version of Ben Affleck’s Caped Crusader, this turned out to be false as there will be no connection between the two.

Here is the official synopsis for Zack Snyder’s Batman v Superman:

Fearing the actions of a god-like Super Hero left unchecked, Gotham City’s own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis’s most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it’s ever known before.

Directed Zack Snyder, Batman v Superman stars Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne, Diane Lane, Jesse Eisenberg, Jeremy Irons, and Holly Hunter.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is now available on Blu-Ray, DVD, and Digital HD. Stay tuned for the latest news regarding Zack Snyder, Ben Affleck and the future of the DC Extended Universe.
