Birds of Prey Mary Elizabeth Winstead Huntress DC Comics

Birds of Prey (And The Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn)– very nice- is certainly wasting no time hitting the ground running. Production is set to start soon and a new video shows one of the stars prepping for her role in the future DC film. So let’s talk about Mary Elizabeth Winstead’s Huntress for a minute.

In a new video shared on Twitter today, we see Mary Elizabeth Winstead doing a bit of aerial yoga in some poses that will probably make your hamstring burn just looking at the future Huntress work out for Birds of Prey. Accompanying this video is the caption “Huntress is going to kick many asses in #BirdsofPrey.” Here, have a look for yourself at the Birds of Prey star whipping herself into shape:

Imagine that. But what are your hopes for the DC Extended Universe’s take on Huntress? Are you excited to see Mary Elizabeth Winstead in the role? And given her past working relationship with Ewan McGregor on Fargo, do you hope to see Huntress and Black Mask share screen time? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
