‘Birds Of Prey’: Mary Elizabeth Winstead Confirms When Filming Begins

Birds of Prey Mary Elizabeth WinsteadOne of the most intriguing new DC Films projects that will begin production very soon is Birds of Prey. Part of that is due to its remarkable cast that includes Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Huntress.

Winstead recently confirmed that Birds of Prey would begin filming at the very beginning of 2019:

“It’s sort of a spinoff of Suicide Squad. It kind of follows Harley Quinn, which is Margot Robbie’s character from those films, and this sort of girl gang that she puts together. I play Huntress, and we’ve got Black Canary, played by Jurnee Smollett-Bell, and Rosie Perez and Ewan McGregor. It’s a really fun, fun cast. We haven’t started shooting yet, but we start shooting in January, and I can’t wait.”

It’s only a matter of time before the Birds of Prey finally take flight on the big screen.
