‘Black Panther’: Full Cast & First Synopsis Revealed

Black PantherBlack Panther has been filming for a little over a week now in Atlanta, Georgia, where several cast members have already been spotted on the set of the highly anticipated movie. Today, Marvel Studios officially announced that the film has commenced production by revealing the full cast of the project, as well as the first synopsis.

The cast includes Chadwick Boseman, Michael B. Jordan, Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira, Martin Freeman, Daniel Kaluuya, Angela Bassett, Letitia Wright, Winston Duke,  Florence Kasumba and Sterling K. Brown. In addition, Marvel has also confirmed that Andy Serkis will reprise his Avengers: Age of Ultron role as Klaw, while John Kani will return as T’Challa’s father, T’Chaka, who died in last year’s Captain America: Civil War.

Here’s the film’s official synopsis:

“Black Panther” follows T’Challa who, after the events of “Captain America: Civil War,” returns home to the isolated, technologically advanced African nation of Wakanda to take his place as King. However, when an old enemy reappears on the radar, T’Challa’s mettle as King and Black Panther is tested when he is drawn into a conflict that puts the entire fate of Wakanda and the world at risk.

Directed by Ryan Coogler, Black Panther opens on February 16, 2018. Are you excited?
