‘Black Panther’ Will Have His Own LEGO Movie Called ‘Trouble In Wakanda’

Lego Black PantherNew York Comic-Con is underway right now, and along with fun panels for superhero TV shows, Marvel Animation announced a team-up with LEGO for a movie about Marvel hero Black Panther.

The character of Black Panther is set to have his own solo MCU movie due in February, and the spin-off LEGO movie will be titled Black Panther: Trouble in Wakanda, though no other details were made available. It is most likely that the movie will be straight-to-DVD/Blu-Ray, and not be a full cinematic release akin to The LEGO Batman Movie or The LEGO Ninjago Movie.

There have been other lower-budget LEGO/Marvel movies made straight-to-DVD like LEGO Marvel Super Heroes: Maximum Overload, but this is the first release centred on one character only. The focus on Black Panther is smart for business, with no official release date but an assumed release around the time of the character’s live-action film and the upcoming Avengers: Infinity War, also featuring the character. It might not be much, but should be interesting.

Black Panther, the Marvel Studios live-action film, is in cinemas February, 16, 2018.

5 Thor Stories That Should Be Used For Future Marvel Movies

Chris Hemsworth Thor MarvelAfter those amazing Thor: Ragnarok trailers, everyone’s talking about Odinson. This looks like a fun movie, and it makes me excited for where they might take Thor in the future. After Avengers: Infinity War, Thor is fair game for Marvel Studios (and hopefully Taika Waititi again) to do whatever they want with him.

There are some amazing Thor stories in the Marvel catalog for them to take inspiration from. I think that’s pretty key at this point, for them to just take inspiration from these stories and not follow the plot 100 percent. The Marvel Cinematic Universe is just too different compared to the Marvel Comics line, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t some amazing stories the movies could emulate.

So here are five Thor stories that should be used for future movies. Hit Next to find out more!
